Basic Information –

In the recent notification given by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), they inform about the recruitment of sub-inspectors for male 384 and female candidates and 678 vacancies. Interested candidates who want to apply for the post can go through the notification and apply online.

Important dates-

Interested candidates can apply for the post from 15-04-2024 to 14-05-2024 If any candidate wants to modify the online form with correction fees, they can do modifications from 15-05-2024 to 24-05-2024.

Physical Needs-  

The candidate needs to fulfill some physical needs to qualify for the post

For PET-

 Male candidates need to complete a 1600m run in 6min and 30 seconds, a Long jump of 12 feet, and a high jump of 3 feet and 9 inches

Female candidates need to complete an 800-meter run in 4 minutes, a long jump of 9 feet, and a high jump of 3 feet

For PST-

In the UR/EWS/OBC category for male candidates height must be 165 cm and for female candidates height must be 157 cm.

Chest required only for males it is 80 cm unexpended and 85 cm expended

In the SC/ST category for male candidates, height must be 160cm, and for female candidates’ height must be 152 cm

Chest required only for males it is 76.2 Unexpended and 81.2 expended

In the Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese, and other categories specified by Govt. male candidates' height must be 163 cm, and female candidates’ height must be 155 cm

Chest required only for males it is 80 unexpended and 85 expended

Application Fee ·        For All Candidates (except categories mentioned below), Out of this fee of 500/-, an amount of 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT: Rs. 500/- ·        For candidates who being to SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Female, Transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates, This fee of 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT: Rs. 250/- ·        Payment Mode (Online): Through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. NOTE: Only candidates who attend CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.
